Korin Privacy Notice

How your private gallery stays on your device

Korin is a soft rose exhibition space for the curious things you keep. This notice explains what information the app may process while you capture relics, write origin stories, arrange halls, and forge opening-night posters.

What Korin is designed to do

Korin helps you photograph or import small objects, name them, record short origin stories, open themed exhibition halls, place pieces on a stage floor, and generate posters you may save to Photos. The experience is built for offline, on-device curation. Korin does not require you to create a profile or sign in to use these features.

Materials that live in your exhibition vault

Depending on how you use Korin, the following may be stored locally on your device:

These materials are written under the app’s sandboxed storage (including Application Support paths for images and related media). They are intended to remain available after you close and reopen the app, until you delete items or clear content from Settings.

Device permissions you may be asked to grant

Korin requests access only when a feature needs it. You can decline a permission; the related action will not proceed until access is available.

Korin does not use location services or maps, and it does not send push notifications as part of its core private-gallery design.

Network activity and third parties

Curating relics and exhibitions is designed to work with local storage. Network use may still occur in limited situations, for example when you open Privacy Policy or Terms of Service pages inside the in-app web surface, when the operating system or Apple frameworks contact Apple services, or when device-level analytics or advertising frameworks process data according to your tracking preference and Apple’s rules.

Korin does not operate a Korin cloud gallery account where your relic photos are uploaded for remote browsing. If you save a poster to Photos, that image then follows Apple Photos rules and any sync settings you configure on your own devices.

Why information is processed

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Relic and exhibition content generally remains on your device until you delete individual items or use Remove All Data in Settings, which clears curated content and media while leaving local coin balance records intact as implemented in the app. Uninstalling Korin typically removes the app sandbox, including local files stored there.

You can also manage Camera, Photos, Microphone, and Tracking permissions in iOS Settings. Changing or withdrawing permission may limit related features.

Children

Korin is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information in a way that concerns you, contact us so we can help you understand available device-level options.

Security posture

Local files rely on iOS sandbox protections and ordinary device security (such as passcode and system updates). No method of electronic storage is perfectly risk-free. Protect your device, keep the system updated, and use Remove All Data or uninstall when you no longer want curated media kept in the app.

Changes to this notice

We may revise this notice as Korin’s features or legal requirements evolve. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means you should review the revised notice.
